"Chill, Zidane, geez." Tidus shook his head. "I was just saying that you're a little... erm... inexperienced for this sort of thing."
"What? Are you saying that I can't handle combat?" Zidane yelled.
Tidus rolled his eyes. "Never mind. Let's go find Lulu." He turned and walked away.
"Don't you run away from me!" Zidane yelled at Tidus's back.
"Zidane," Yuna said softly. "calm down. Let's just go find Lulu."
Taking a deep breath, Zidane followed the rest of the group.
They walked for hours. It seemed as if no matter where they went, trouble followed.
"We go this way," Zidane said, pointing in the direction of some thick trees. It wasn't until an hour later when...
"Hey, Zidane," Rikku said, looking over his shoulder. "You're holding the map upside down."
Backtracking took them what seemed like an eternity. Even with Tidus reading his own map, it took hours to finally get to the point they were at before.
"How... much... longer?" Rikku gasped, clutching a stitch at her side.
"We camp for the night," Auron said.
Rikku yawned. It was morning. She was up and ready to go, but she doubted that anyone else would be. She always got up at what others considered an ungodly time in the morning.
She had gotten breakfast all ready by the time Auron woke up. He wolfed down his breakfast and walked into the trees.
"Where are you going?" Rikku asked. He didn't answer.
He's sure acting strange. She shook off the thought and turned her attention to Yuna, who had just woken up.
"Morning, Yunie," she said cheerfully.
Yuna didn't answer. Instead, she ate the food in front of her. "Phanks," she said with her mouth still full of food.
"No problem..."
Everyone was awake and well fed by now, but still Auron hadn't come back. "Auron!" Tidus yelled. "Where are you?"
They went into the trees, searching for him. They found him fairly quickly.
"Come," he said shortly, and led the way to a strange clearing. A mysterious mist covered the land like a thick blanket.
"What... what is this place?" Tidus asked.
Without answering, Auron walked over to a tree, barely visible in the fog. There was a strange, blue/silver symbol on it. "Look," he said softly. He reached his hand out, hesitated... and touched it.
