Rikku slowly paced in front of the rest of the group. Kiana and Shep had disappeared. Who knows where they had gotten to?
"Well, what are we going to do now?" Tidus asked.
"Shut up, Tidus," Rikku muttered, more out of habit than anything. "We need a plan."
"No, really? I would have never guessed!" Tidus sarcastically replied.
"Didn't I tell you to shut up?"
Tidus glared at Rikku. Yuna lightly touched his arm. He took a deep breath and tried to calm down.
"I'm going to go off alone for a little bit, okay? I need to think."
"Oh, no you're not!" Tidus rose to his feet. "What happened last time when Shep and Kiana went off, hmm? We're not losing you, too!"
Yuna shook her head. "Just go, Rikku. You need to clear your head."
Rikku smiled at Yuna in thanks and began a small trek away from the group. Just as she was out of sight, a bloodcurling scream filled the air.
"Rikku!" Tidus and Yuna shouted and scrambled up from their sitting positions.
"C'mon, guys! Let's go!" Tidus yelled behind him as he was sprinting in the direction of the scream, Yuna right behind him.
