I dont think this is helped by the fact that a lot of them seem to be faulty! many make strange whining noises. The Optare Tempo are nice buses, i'd prefer them to the Scanias anyway! Trent only have 6 that they use on the Xprss (and 1 on the Radcliffe Lines alongside Solos) in Nottingham. They have pretty much the same engine as the Excels (Mercedes), and suffer from the plasticy look as the Scanias do. Im sure it is trent who have decided not to upholster the interior (side + roof).
