Date Posted: 21:55:55 09/17/05 Sat Overhearing one of the bus drivers, by the sounds of things this will be the fate of the routes - 60 - Currently Fellowlands Way in Chellaston via Maple Drive, it will remain the same. 61 - Currently Glenwood Road via Sinfin Avenue, this is set to change to go around Royal Country Park via Sinfin Avenue and Parkway. The 61 will also run the evening/sunday service alongside the 69A, meaning half-hourly service (a first for Arriva in Derby?). 68 - Melbourne, this will remain the same. 69 - Swadlincote, this route is going to be scrapped in favour of a more regular bus route between Swadlincote and Melbourne. 69A - This may not be Serving Swadlincote anymore, however the 69A will no longer serve Sinfin Avenue, though from what I heard this could serve the Fellowlands estate in Chellaston. Like I said this is what I heard from one of the drivers, who wasn't pleased about these near future route changes, I also heard him say these could be coming into effect later on this year.
