Pretty new to the gardening scene, so wondered if you could help. I would like some ideas on use of plants for screening an 8 feet high fence that has a border of 3 feet. I also want to use the border for other perenial plants that will cascade down in size. Need colour etc all year round too. The garden is south facing and is a bit of a sun trap. The top soil is okay but of a clay texture some 18" down. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
