Perhaps it is my sense of antipodean inferiority but I always await millinery photographs from Ascot Races with great anticipation. Those that I have seen for 2004 are such a poor lot of hats that I wonder just what is going on in dear old Blighty.
It seems that the hat world is grappling for new ideas, no let me change that to any ideas at all, to give distinction to hats for this Spring/Summer.
I call on the great millinery leaders to originate some styles that we in the outreaches can copy with dignity and some hope of selling!!
