Hi John
I was an engine mechanic (later fitter) on the Hastings Squadron May 1970 inc the move to Scampton and I left in 1973. I was a private pilot and tried to grab as many P2 or PUT hours as I could so had considerable experience on the Hastings inside and out! If you still want more info let me know? I am still in touch with my old pal (Sgt) Eric Gillet who was also on the Squadron for longer than I was. We both have some photographs as well.
