When my cats were kittens, just 5 weeks old, they were quite the eating machines. Growing baby kittens eat a lot & might try to eat just about anything. Although they won't go near the stuff as adults, they loved garlic as kittens. I read it kills some internal parasites & reduces many more. So I encouraged it's consumtion. They were too young for shots or anything yet.

They were from a litter of 3 from the wilderness on a Native American reservation. I got 2 (brother & sis), & my sister got the other one (another sis).

When they were finally old enough for shots & stuff, my sister's kitten was full of internal parsites. Mine were parasite & disease-free & got a clean bill of health.

I don't mind some garlic breath, it may even remind me of some good food & make me hungry. Some people will put garlic on or in almost anything that isn't sweet. I find the combination of some food & garlic, or other foods they ate with it can make one's breath smell worse than a backed-up sewer or a sealed garbage can in the hot sun for a few days.

My favorite garlic breath is Italian-food or tomato sauce garlic breath... makes me want authentic Buffalo pizza, spagetti, or lasagne. Also garlic breath from people who ate my own cooking seems fine. But we probably all ate the same thing so are used to or immune to the smell by the time we're done eating.
