Actually, just sounds like you are not wiping the brush enough between product pick-ups and so clogging the brush!

Colorant is a "contaminant" (titanium dioxide)in the powder and it can easily clog a brush. For best results, use a separate brush for white acrylic powder application, and another important point: Be sure to wipe excessively and completely between "ball pick-ups", then completely submersing and "emptying" as necessary the belly of the brush again with each pick-up to get proper ratios. Also, be sure to use another separate brush for smile line refinement (cleaning it up or "wiping" it).

Have faith though, practice does make perfect.... Pink and whites are HARD and this is just one more tiny little example of what all can (and will) go wrong!!!
