Subject: UV "seal it" and cuticles

I recently completed my nail tech course. I have been reading your website and message boards. In answer to one nail techs question about whether or not nail techs are still taught to cut cuticles... yes.. I was taught that it was 'the' way. I am rethinking that the last couple days.
I want to know if using a uv curable seal it product (from supply source) over acrylics is advisable? I have used it once and it looked really nice, we didnt polish so I dont know how it would have worked with polish. I also dont know how it will work with fills. Will I have to file off all the seal it product before filling?
I also want to say thank you for you website. I am a little overwhelmed but trying to take it all in slowly. Please continue adding info to this site. I feel like I have learned so much in the last few days since I found ya!
