They are called the Bajdormi.... lowest dreamers. I have written a book about them. They are creatures that, when they manifest on out plane, have no true body. There clothes are made of wraithforms, and they have no body inside them. The Bajdormi live off the nightmares of any living thing (or, in the case of those that do not dream, fear). When on their own plane they resemble gaseous forms, floating and collecting the dreams of men. But, when provoked, they turn to any form they wish (be it dragon, child, lion, or even a giant pleather cheetah). They are not to be screwed with while they hunt for something that is beyond human comprehension. Their leader, given the name Donovan, walks as an mid to upper 30s man with a cane. The cane contains the remains of the last of the PrimDormi (First Dreamer, or Those that give daydreams) the former Matron Dallia.

When Donovan enters play, sacrifice a creature. Donovan gains +1/+1 counters equal to the casting cost of the sacrificed creature. When Donovan phases out, remove all +1/+1 counters from Donovan and put an equal number of X/1 Dreambeast tokens into play under your control. The power of the tokens is equal to the number of nontoken creatures in play plus one half of the number of token creatures in play rounded up.

(1): Choose a creature: Donovan's power and toughness become that of chosen creature.
(1):Sacrifice a creature; Choose a Creature: Donovan gains the abilities of chosen creature until he phases out. If the sacrificed creature was a Dreambeast, put 2 +1/+1 tokens on Donovan.
(UU): Donovan phases out.
(BB1): Donovan phases in.

He's complicated but its relatively balanced unless you sac a Dreadnaught then next turn tap 2 blue, rit, and get some huge tokens and a beast of a creature in Donovan.
