I wouldn't hold her back. It won't help (in my opinion as a parent). I guess i would suggest two things: Ok 3
1. Read Sally Shaywitz book called "Overcoming Dyslexia"
2. Look for an Orton Gillingham program/tutor.http://www.orton-gillingham.com/
3. Don't give her the summer off. Have her read allowed at her ability level or below everyday. Aloud makes the difference. Fluency will improve as she can repeat the book if she wants.
