My comment are - you have got to year 4 at varsity so stop being negative. Dyslexic people are usually more intelligent than the rest (survival of the fittest). Dyslexic people have very special skills that others don't have. They are the most creative people (Weta workshops in N.Z. - The Lord of the Rings etc). They make the best creative designers, developmental designers and on and on. You must though get tested and confirmed as having these special gifts. Most Dyslexics are able to see pictures and plebs have no idea what we are talking about. When writing essays, maths problems, science assignments, making a model or art project having that gift of seeing pictures in the mind makes the creative side a piece of cake, just form a picture and write down what you can see the fill in the gaps. IT WORKS!! I am dyslexic and reading and writing and ordering things are a nightmare but so what, I usually get there. Install Ginger on your desk top to read your written texts and use for ALL typed work(this will be read by Ginger and corrections made), don't rely on Word spell check!! Search for other dyslexia programs on Dyslexia U.K. or Dyslexia New Zealand. Want any more, I can and do often go on rather a lot. I am SENCO at our secondary school and have worked with learning difficulties for some time. I hope I have been able to make you a little more positive.
Maurice
