Chap 2
Deciding
If Audrey had any kind of change in her personality, she wouldn’t have done what she was about to do. The squirrel screeched out.
“WAKE UP!!!!!!!”
She smirked at some dibbuns who had fallen out of bed at the sound of her voice, then turned back to Legolas, nodding. The dorm leaders and the co-leaders slowly slid out of bed, their faces crusted with an annoyed expression.
Songwind quietly walked torwards Audrey, with Loli, right behind her. A little bit behind, the other dorm leaders Terragon, Eragona, Moonpaw, Forgin, Lettuceleaf, Tal, Sunset, Seabreeze, Carrul, Raiden, Treestar, Ranguvar, Tysharm, Tokie, Auburn, Bayleef, and Willowflame plodding over. Suddenly, Terragon spotted the captives.
“Legolas! Audrey! What have you done to these poor dibbuns? You should be asham-TAGDUST!”
“What?” Tokie, Willowflame and Ranguvar screeched out in unison.
“Tangles’…tagdust!” Lettuceleaf rushed over to the bed in which Tangle’s tag dust lay. He scooped it into a jar and scribbled Tangle onto a piece of parchment. Then he stuck it to the jar.
The others watched him and looked at him as if he was crazy. He shrugged, then clutched the jar close to him. Everyone else blinked, their eyes full of confusion or tears. All the dorm leaders stepped forwards towards Lissi and Swordling.
“What have you done?” Carrul spoke, his eyes burning with anger.
Lissi shivered and Swordling shook with rage. She started sputtering with anger. Why couldn’t these dibbuns realize that she didn’t do it? Suddenly, Seabreeze pulled a slingshot out. She turned to the two dibbuns and loaded a large pebble. Then, she pulled the sling taut and let it go. The small stone soared through the air and landed square between Lissi’s eyes. Everything blurred, and suddenly everything blacked out.

Swordling watched as Seabreeze loaded another stone, this time, behind her back. The other dibbuns all had their slingshots out and this time they all had stones in them. Swordling sighed huffily then closed her eyes, waiting for the stone to hit her in the head. But instead it brushed her ear. Tagdust dripped a bit down her ear. She shook it off, splattering the net with it. Then, she opened her eyes. Several stones soared for her head in various directions. She sat up, stiff. Then, stone met bone, and Swordling fell into a deep unconsciousness as well.

The dorm leaders turned towards each other, distressed. While Audrey and Legolas dragged the bodies of the unconscious dibbuns to be put in the dibbun prison, a closet with bars instead of a door, Forgin and Tysharm were investigating the bed. They soon found the note that the black mouse had left. The two dibbuns cried out.
“Look! A note!”
All the dorm leaders crouched over it, trying to read the sloppy writing. Finally, Bayleef, the detective, had figured it out.
“It says: Dear you nasty DABers,
I have tagged your precious leader! It was for good cause, she was getting too old anyway! You needed a fresh leader, stealthy and smart, and young! Tangle was too…experienced. I’m sure that you will understand all my dirty insults, for I hate you all, but please, you stupid dibbuns, I have looked through all the dibbuns in DAB myself and decided to pick one. The next Ringleader should be…
ĹĹĹĹĹ!”
The dibbuns gasped. The note was smudged. Turning to each other, they looked wide eyed. Who was supposed to be the leader? Willowflame turned to the others.
“It’s my name! See!”
Forgin interrupted.
“No. It’s mine! Don’t you see? There’s the F thingy!”
Auburn snorted, her whiskers twitching.
“Yeah right! It’s mine! Theres the B!”
Soon, the dibbuns were in a raging mad fight. Everyone was against each other. They fought desperately. Bayleef was in a battle with Auburn and Ranguvar, and was winning. Ranguvar was litterally spread across the floor, tag dust dripping from the otter’s left hip. Auburn was backed into a corner by Bayleef, who was shooting with expert accuracy with his pea shooter, hurting her shoulder.
Loli, Songwind, Forgin, Tresetar, and Lettuceleaf were locked in a battle as well. Treestar had the upper paw, and was hurting others with her pea shooter. Suddenly, there was a scream from the doorway.
“STOP! What are you? MAD?”
The dibbuns looked up. There was a cloaked mouse figure in the doorway. The mouse quivered.
“You, are acting like vermin. What are you thinking?”
Moonpaw cocked his head, the badger’s fur straight as an arrow.
“Who are you?”
“I, am…"
