Tangle and Tillee stood in the center of the orchard, by a tall pear tree. The Dibbuns crowded around her, eagerness seeping out of their pores. "Well! Werah alla here togevver so leth geth started," Tangle said. "I sent Leiky, Zotch, an' Tiltzie out to thee ware dee vermin vere dis mornink. Dey'll bee back arounth arounth late afternoon if'n' dey huwwy." A tall black mouse hopped into the scene, screaming her head off, "WHO PUT ROTTEN STRAWBERRIES IN MY SHOES??!!??!!!!!" she roared, looking straight at Tinsy. "You, you, you...rotten, misbegotten, stupid excuse for a lizard!!!" she screamed, her face purple with rage. Tinsy fell out of her seat, laughing. "HAAHAAHAAHAA!! That'll teach you to threaten me! Teeheehee!!" Swordling brandished her sword ina most frightening way, "I'll make you eat that shoe!" she threw the shoe at Tinsy, who caught it neatly in one paw. She quickly threw the other, it caught Tinsy off guard and it landed straight in her mouth. Swordling started to laugh, "Friends?" Tinsy stopped trying squirm the shoe out of her mouth. "Fwiendth." she said. "Here let me help you with that," she replied, and tugged the shoe neatly out of her mouth. "Thanks," said Tinsy, waggeling her jaw. "You can really throw a shoe!" * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Back in the Abbey, Abbess Cornflower was having a meeting with the elders. "I overheard the Dibbuns in one of those infamous DAB meetings. That cute hedgehog, Tangle was saying that vermin are headed straight toward Redwall. I don't now whether to believe them or have a strict talking to with her. Since we don't have ANY warriors at the time I think it would be wise to check on this."
