Just got back from our big one week trip across the ocean to Vancouver. Wonderful weather and had a great visit with Bette & Percy Adlington, Doris Thomson, Florence and Frank. We were also invited to Florence's daughter Diane's place. Wonderful weather and we did some neat things such as - touring the Buddhist Temple in Richmond (I'm sure you have seen a few of them). Quite beautiful and what struck us were the number of female monks we saw.
A jazz concert at the "Silk Purse" (an old house on the waterfront in West Van converted to art and concert gallery). A walk along the waterfront in Vancouver There were two cruise ships in at the time.

We also had a visit with Cathy and Loyd and they have some wonderful pictures of their Italy trip. Loyd did his 3D pictures again and they are quite neat.

We came home yesterday (Saturday) as Karen accompanied on the guitar by Brock, sang "Turn Turn Turn" an old folk song. The words are taken from the Bible, changed slightly and put to music by Pete Seeger. It was really quite beautiful.
Then we drove over to your folks and had a tour of the new digs. The basement, which has been made into your family/computer/tv room is super and all the upstairs rooms have been repainted. Your rooms are really nice and I am sure you will both approve. The big stuff gets moved Monday.

Your little nephew is adding to his capabilities each day and keeping mom and dad busy I suspect. Last time we saw him he was crawling about and now Nancy tells us he can pull himself up.

Autumn will be finished her cooking stint in the boondocks at the end of August. Then I understand she and her mom might take a trip together. Where has not been decided.

I'll bet your "Outback" camping trip would be interesting. What a great learning experience you two are having. Probably worth a couple of years at College. We have August 25 marked in red and all are eagerly looking forward to your homecoming. Have a great time on your return trip to Malaysia.
We miss you both and love you big bunches.
