Hello Nome & Sar!!! I just caught up on your travels after about two weeks of involuntary abstention!! (Well, I bin kinda busy, but I do think of you and love you tons!!) I'm staying late at work to catch up on the bulletin board, 'cause I don't have a computer at home that works right now. Sounds like you're having a fabulous time! I've never hiked in a crater... I too love reading about your adventures, and appreciate your humour too!
I don't have anything exciting to report, but life is good!! Like Mom & Dad said, our service went really well on Sunday and I really enjoyed being part of it... and it was so nice to have so many of my family there...even Erin and that gorgeous young man of hers!! (Liam! He's soooo cute!!)
Mom & Dad had Autumn and Frank and me over for dinner and a visit last night, and we had a really nice evening. Frank will be heading to the interior for tree planting and stuff again in a couple of weeks, and Autum will be following a month later to start her job as a camp cook ($$$) In the meantime, she is just finishing her courses at UVic, and working part time at the Esquimalt branch of the library.
Nancy and I are being very good about going to the gym, it really helps to exercise together, and really nice to touch base and have a little visit regularly too! (Aren't sisters wonderful?!) Other than that, I'm keeping busy with work and choir and Pickup Sticks and my friend TKO : ) Life is good! (Oh, did I say that already?)
Daylight savings time is here, so the evenings are longer (well, lighter anyway!) which is really nice. Tom and I are looking forward to doing some hiking (now that his ankle is getting better and he can walk all by himself and wear hiking boots and everything!); though I doubt we'll see anything quite as spectacular as what you have!
We'll be heading over to Vancouver April 25 for Loyd's next concert - it sounds like it'll be a good one (as usual!!).
Now I'm going to head home, as it'll be time to go to the gym soon! Love and love and hugs and hugs and love!!!
Karen
