As I said to Morkai - I think I am starting to see how the situation is now - and I am VERY happy that you don't want to leave us... But, if you read Morkai's post, you'll see that HE even implies that maybe you're tired of leading and just want to be one of the members. And since you have had MANY discussions (apparently) with him and he has that feeling - can you understand how I might get that impression after the posts that have been put here?
I haven't personally flamed Morkai, except to say that he is NOT the type of leader that I personally am looking for in a guild - and his guild is NOT the kind of guild that I personally want. If that is flaming them - then, I guess I'm guilty.
As I have said in my (way too many) posts - I would love for HoH to find the areas where we are weak and work to strengthen them, and I want to KEEP all of the wonderful ways we are GREAT! That can't happen - if we merge with TV.
One of the best things about our guild is YOU, Non, and I really hope that you don't choose to go to TV. It's a very tough job being leader - it's certainly not a job that I would want! And, I (personally) think that you have been doing a great job. I ONLY criticize the way this idea was handled - and, as an officer, I think that I have a right to express that opinion. I think you would have gone a long way toward a more harmonious "meeting of the minds" if the officers could have met alone at first to be presented with the idea - but, there's no sense beating a dead horse. It's all water under the bridge, mustn't cry over spilt milk, can't close the barn door after the horses have already gotten out.... Well, you get the idea =)
OK - that's all I'll say until the meeting tonight - someone finally told me it's starting at 8 CST. (think no one would tell me - cause I was shootin my mouth too much here?)
Sorry if you thought I said things I shouldn't have Non. I was just speaking my mind, as I always hope that you will (what am I saying - you just did!)
And, I never meant to insult you by suggesting that you join Tar Valon - I just thought it might be the best thing for you - since you seem to want a more high level oriented guild - and I think I came by that impression honestly.
