Ok, this is going to stop here and now. I am sick of people reading between the lines when everything that has been said has been made plain and simple. First of all, Morkai and I simply had a bout of miscommunication, a fact that we have resolved on both this board and TV's along with in-game. Morkai and I both realize that yes, we do have a different definition of what a guild leader should be. In no way last night, other than that simple mistell if you will, was anything implied otherwise. People reading these boards need to understand that yes, Morkai and I have come to an agreement over these misunderstandings and have explained to each other where we were both coming from. As for Starr's comments about me being totally sold on this idea, frankly, I'm not. Before even talking this matter further, both guilds are going to need to take a step back and look at the situation. A lot of compromises would have to be made, but in no way is it a done deal. And Starr, I hate to come off as an asshole now, I have nothing but respect for you, but you pissed me off with that comment. Tar Valon has indeed been recruiting me for about a month now, and you know what? I haven't left yet. And do you know why?because I love each and every member of this guild as if they were part of a family,a dn I would never, ever give that up. Starr, I'm 47 and have never been to a plane, nor a dragon raid. I look at TV's website and I see pictures of Nagafen and hear stories of planar raids and I think: "You know, I've finally reached the level that I can do those things." But do you know what? Even if it means being the least equipped level 60 monk on the server, I would never leave my friends in the Hand. The people in this guild mean more to me than a tranquil staff or a fungi tunic ever will. So no, I will not leave the guild to go join TV. Granted, I have the greatest respect for Morkai and how he runs things, and I've made a lot of friends in TV over the past few weeks. But no amount of uber gear could ever get me to leave you guys and I resent the very implication that made it's way into that comment. The flames on these boards stop now, and the discussion is over. Differences are worked out, and we can stop flaming Morkai now. I appreciate all the support, I really do, but if Morkai and I have come to an understanding, the rest is history.
