Subject: Sporting Biography

Hi, my name is Joe Thomas and I had just switched into Kinesiology during the winter. Sports has been apart of my everyday life ever since I began walking. I love to watch any type of sporting event that keeps things competitive. My favorite sport is basketball, which I played all the way up to high school. I had a few offers to play Division II or III but I decided to come here to study engineering and give my best shot at making the team here. Tryouts are now coming up in October and I will be giving my hardest shot and if things do not work out, I will look at other alternatives. It is really hard to believe how important sport really is to many of our cultural habits. We have even identified the perfect body types for certain sports, whether it be volleyball or football. Our jobs, family lives, and even a lot of peoples eating habits are modified because of their relation to sports. Well, I know I can go on forever about how sport really is important and involved in our everyday lives but if you have something to add please do!
