Wilson, along with here sister, Wendy, and Chynna Phillips, the daughter of John and Michelle Phillips of the Mamas and the Papas, perform Thursday night at Club Regent Casino. No, she didn't want to talk about her infamous weight problem, stapled or un-stapled. "The truth is I'm exhausted and I'm a working mom," she said as she jumped into her car, chatting with me on her Bluetooth. "Yes, I have a nanny, but Lola is five and Luci is 20 months and we're still at the stage where I never have a moment to myself. You should see my fingernails -- not painted, no manicure." (Pause for breath.) "Don't get me wrong. I loved making babies and being pregnant and love watching them grow even more. But, I'm 43, and I think I'm done." Carnie and her husband, Rob Bonfiglio, a guitarist in the band, have a rule: "If we're gone longer than seven days, the kids have to come." Her sister, Wendy, is married to sound engineer Don Knutson and has four boys. So what's up musically for Wilson Phillips, with the fantastic musical genes?
