Subject: Fruit Beer

I recently discovered Forbidden Fruit at a party and i decided to investigate fruit beers. My only previous experience of fruit beer was in a pub in Manchester a few years ago when i was up there to see a rock concert. When i returned to London i went back to drinking Dogbolter in my local Furkin pub and soon forgot about the fruit beer. I used the internet to find fruit beer and soon found that most of it is from Belgium. I visited the Abbaye pub in Bromley and bought a pint of draught Cherry beer. I handed over a £5 note and put the change in my pocket without looking at it. The beer was ok but nothing special and definitely not fruity enough. Later i was amazed to find the barman had only given me £1.10 change. £3.90 a pint? surely a mistake? Anyway, the point of this post is to ask if anyone can recommend a good pub to drink fruit beer? and also where can i buy at competitive prices for drinking at home? I never realised that there were so many types of fruit beer and i am finding it rather confusing. Also, whats the deal with the glasses? why is there a different glass for every beer? is there a reason for this or is it just a form of snobbery? Thanks to anyone who can help.
