I think these scenes and moments are repeatedly included or referred to in fanfic because there is something about the scene that catches the fancy of the reader/writer. There are particular scenes, lines, moments that strike me emotionally and I tend to remember those moments because they have come to mean something to me or recall an emotion with me. And, yes, these moments tend to be used or referred to in some of my fanfics.

My "moments" include: 1) Michael briefly glancing away from whoever he is talking to before bringing his gaze back the the person's eyes, 2) Michael about to kiss Nikita in Escape when his cellphone rings and he briefly closes his eys in silent frustration, 3) the moment when we see Michael watching as Nikita goes into Gray's apartment and he turns and steps through the barred gate (my first "Poor Mikey!"), and a bunch of other scenes that just struck a chord within me.

I'm sure many of you have those scenes in your memory...
