I've actually read a few Stargate: Atlantis and a dozen or more New Battlestar Galactica fics - all without having seen more than the advertisments for either.

I would no more know what is canon from what is fanon than I could fly! LOL!

So, I could see, even if I did start watching either program, having a lot of trouble seperating the two if I did turn to writing in either of those fandoms.
