It's not really that it's weird, but that it's busy. And many of the busy parts are, coincidentally, on the evenings of days before the regularly scheduled updates. For instance, I have to pack and leave for Ubercon on Friday night. Contributing to this are some scheduling problems in the story itself. I know what will be happening in about 4 strips' time, and from then on a ways, but getting to that point is at present an unscripted problem.

I should be able to get a bit of a backlog ready this week so that the updates will resume smoothly. In the meantime, I can only recommend that you amuse yourself with the special feature mentioned on the FOMS webpage.

So that people who didn't check FOMS last week will still understand Mike's reaction, the message I posted there is preserved here:

"Sadly, FOMS is on break this week. In the meantime, as a special feature, I'm displaying FOMS' greatest hits. The 85 best strips are all here for your viewing pleasure. Relive those classic memories! And because I care about my fans so much, these carefully selected highlights will remain up even after the strip resumes!"

The archives were, of course, completely unchanged.
