Subject: penecillin school

Hi does any of you remember having to go to the penicillin for school? I went there from Banks road because stapleton ave wasn't opened in time be about 1955/6

Hi Geoff I went to the Penecillin in the 2nd year, went to Banks Road in the 3rd year and then back to Stockton Wood for the 4th year. I was in 4B, Mr Birstows class. I remember you then, did you knock around with someone named Morgan. You was on a photo I posted on the Speke Facebook page. We were on the Isle Of Man Boat. You was on a deck chair with your mate. If you mean the one located near Hunts Cross,I remember it well.Mainly because it was near the main railway line.Is this the same school?

I remember having to go to Banks Rd school in the 3rd year of Stockdon wood because of lack of space, we used to fight all the time with the garston kids. We had a bus to take us there an a driver named Tommy who used to make the bus 'Rock & Roll" to our delight, talk about health and safety!
We went on school camp to Colamendy Wales, its all coming back now reading your column all the best from Ron in sunny Queensland
