Really? I thought it ended with ***spoilers for end of the ep*** -- Linda_Delurked, 16:28:10 04/07/03 Mon
Willow reading the book on the bed, and then opening the door to find Kennedy there. How did I miss the Dawn scene? Grrr!
Oh well, at least it means I get to read it again :)
Seriously Sgt. Rock, that was one fantastic episode.

So fantastic you forgot an entire scene! :) -- Sgt. Rock, 17:14:20 04/07/03 Mon
I was pretty happy with it, but like I said, it's only a first draft, and it falls short of a full episode length by five or six pages so I want to add in another scene or two, probably one of Giles and Dawn looking for houses (I wanted more Giles, but didn't want to overcrowd the scenes, I seriously think we need to kill someone off or at least have them leave town) and another with the four, I didn't show or explain all the powers they have so I want to include that too.
There's some dialogue that still feels pretty generic which I'll probably change, and I might up the animosity between Spike and Faith, I'd love to see these two square off against each other later in the season. I want to increase the Willy/Xander dialogue too, that fell short of how I pictured the scene.
But one thing I'm not changing is that last speech by Tara, you wouldn't believe how many times I had to rewrite that to get it right!
Now if only Joss Whedon is reading this....
