Subject: An Episode by Episode KEY POINTS thread.

OK, thought I'd set this up so that we can all keep a very clear track of what has happened so far.

To keep this thread tidy could *no one* reply to it or post in this thread. That way it'll be easier for people to use.

I'll do Episodes 8.01-8.06 in this post, and then with each new episode I'll add the Key Points.

I'm also going to write IN CAPITALS the Key Points which have been in episodes but not used again, or explained. Not saying they need using straight away, but we do need to go back to them at some point.

8.01 - SEEK

* A GIRL IS ATTACKED IN NEW YORK BY A VAMPIRE - SOMEONE KILLS THE VAMPIRE, THEN ATTACKS THE GIRL.

* Buffy dreams about a lightning storm.

* Buffy dreams that Anya and Faith are wearing dresses, and Giles is in a suit.

* Buffy dreams Dark Willow is back.

* Buffy dreams that an unknown demon threatens her.

8.02 - GROWN UP

* Andrew, Xander and Spike are living together.

* Xander admits to Spike that he's considering leaving Sunnydale; Spike gives him some advice.

* Xander has a strange dream of flashbacks of all the Scoobies, finishing up with his confrontation with Willow on Kingmans Bluff.

* Faith tries to make amends for what she did to Xander in S3.

* Willow and Buffy tell Xander he's essential.

8.03 - ...IT'S A MAGIC NUMBER

* Willow is still using magic to manipulate nature, like she did in "Lessons".

* We start to see an uncomfortable atmosphere between Faith and Spike.

* On the other hand, Spike and Willow have a very friendly scene.

* THE DEMON THAT THE GANG KILLS HAS CHILDREN - AT THE END OF THE EP, ROBED FIGURES CHANT "SLAY-ER" OVER THEM.

8.04 - THE CHOSEN THREE

* Buffy and Faith experience a shared dream, and see the First Slayer and Tara.

* Xander is encouraging Spike to move out.

* AN OFFICE WITH BOTH HUMAN AND DEMON EMPLOYEES IS ATTACKED BY RAVEN.

* Raven reveals herself to be a Sired Slayer.

* Raven attacks Casa de Summers - and she knows all about the Scoobs.

* Willow sends Buffy and Faith into a Slayer dream - they see a very big rat, and Tara warns that dangerous times are ahead.

* Raven delivers a scroll to her master, Amy.

8.05 - PAST TENSE

* We find out Amy has summoned Raven.

* Raven calls on The Missionary to deal with the Scoobs.

* Xander, Dawn and Spike face their worst fears.

* IN HER FEAR DIMENSION, DAWN SEES THAT GLORIFICUS ONCED USED THE KEY TO TURN HUMANS INTO DEMONS.

* DAWN DISCOVERS THAT GILES KILLED BEN, AND TELLS THE GROUP.

* Raven kills the Missionary, to stop him from taking the scroll.

8.06 - THE LONELY ONE

* We learn that Raven was a Slayer in 1518 - a Spanish girl named Isabella, whose Watcher was Don Benito.

* Benito is kidnapped by vampires.

* Things are awkward between Buffy and Giles since the revelation about Ben.

* THE INQUISITION HAVE BENITO - AND MAKE REFERENCES TO PROPHECIES THAT ISABELLA IS NOT JUST A REGULAR SLAYER.

* Raven kidnaps Giles.

* Raven also captures two students. She interrogates Giles.

* Benito is turned, and when Isabella tries to rescue him, he sires her.

* GILES BELIVES THAT RAVEN STILL HAS A PART OF HER THAT IS ISABELLA.

Like I said, I'll update this when new eps come in. It's just a good idea so that everyone is totally clear what we've already established this season.

Also, I think we need to include Amy in more stuff....so far she's only been in episodes 5 & 6. She's meant to be integral, and she's meant to have a storyline...we need her back in the stories pronto!!

Especially if not every writer is able to read every episode. It's a great reference tool, like you said.
