To be honest I checked the board earlier and I went right by it without noticing cause I was looking for a much bigger thread. I wonder why people didn't really reply to this one? I think this might be the best episode yet lol I wanted Faithsguy and ABM to be showered with praise! I dunno maybe it's my own delusions of greatness but I kinda expect each of these episodes to be a huge board event and you guys worked so hard on it I wish more people would have read it. And now it's already in the archives almost :(
Could it be maybe Sunday isn't the best time to post a new episode? With the weekend and all. Also maybe just the fact that since Buffy is in reruns less people come to the boards so in turn less people will be able to read the fanfic. Oh well the replies that we did get were very positive so at least that's important! So who knows?

Yeah I was kinda bummed I wanted there to be more replies, too! You could always argue the number of replies isn't representative of the number of actual readers, but still you'd think if someone took the time to read the whole episode they could take the three extra minutes to say how good it is! I always thought the best days to post the episodes were Monday and Wednesday, before and after a "Buffy Day" but that probably wouldn't be enough time between episodes.
But yeah Mark is right at least the replies were really good in your favor! Let's look at the positive! Great, great job on this episode guys! Witty, sharp dialogue with a strong narrative and a smooth flowing storyline that was fast where it needed to be fast and slow where it needed to be slow. You were true to the characters and their voices. Definite A material!

This made me laugh:

I liked the little reference to the confusion people on the board had!
"Xander: By hottie, I mean evil hell demon." And lol the dialogue that follows this.
"Buffy: Yeah, that’d be great Dawn! Oh, and if you’re not busy later, we can introduce you to torture techniques!"
Funny!
"Buffy: Look, Dawn, I know how much it would mean to you, but….you’re still my little sister. Mom would want me to take care of you, and that includes not letting you get in on the Slayer action. I’m sorry."
This isn't funny, but I like any well written and organic reference to Joyce that doesn't seem contrived or there to just be like, "look I'm mentioning a character that left!" Cause in real life I think this is how Buffy would mention her mother.
"Buffy: Right, him….was that before or after Riley?"
Funny! Makes up for the missing Ben reference in Lies My Parents Told Me!

Did you include the Ben references after hearing how the revelation with him was cut out of LMPTM, or was it just a happy coincidence that he's cut out of the real Buffy episode but then put in ours? Cause I was pissed he was cut out of LMPTM but this made me feel a little better!

Don't forget the time difference between the U.K. and U.S.
6.00AM in the morning U.S. time is not usually a good time to receive the best audience.
(probably same reason my episode didn't get much feedback)

I'm pretty sure the board is mostly American so posting it at 6am (their time) probably isn't going to get the most readers. I think it would have made more sense to post it just after the daily shipping news as that gets a lot of posters.
