Subject: Raven's fighting style. Some ideas.
OK, I've been thinking about how Raven should appear when she first arrives. Obviously it's up to the Ep writers, and I know Faithsguy has her in a dream, but I thought when she actually turns up she could be something like this.
What if she's dressed head to toe in some really freaky armour. Here's a metal surface that could be a shield/breastplate for Raven:

Anyway, we can find more pictures later... here's the fun bit!
What if, during the first fight between Raven and the Scoobs, we the audience notice that there are round, flat metal discs on the palm of Raven's gauntlets. These magic devices can, at Raven's will, extend a long, needle thin blade into the opponent, causing temporary paralysis and blindness. They could be impregnated with some kind of poison to do this. And Raven's armour could do the same - she's like an enraged, toxic hedgehog, and these poisoned spines could pop out when someone tries to grab her. I just thought this way we could have an enemy who actually uses her brains to fight, rather than sheer brute strength. PLUS, it would add some mystery - the audience and the Scoobs wouldn't know that this mysterious knight was Raven, or even a woman for that matter. At first the Scoobs could even begin to panic that the Knights of Byzantium have restarted their quest to kill Dawn.
I also think that maybe, Raven shouldn't be that strong of a fighter - when the Scoobs discover some means of removing her armour, they find quite a scrawny, young girl under there. Raven could maybe have been vamped at 15? And they're expecting some powerful Slayervamp to be behind te armour, but instead they find a child.
Anyway, feedback please!

she meets the gang in my episode, she has a fight with buffy and Faith. she is like a superslayer in my episode, she is very graceful yet strong in her moves.

...if later characters developed Raven's fighting style. I'm not saying you're wrong to write it the way you have, I just feel that we've seen a lot of strong, graceful fighting characters. I thought Raven could be slightly weaker than Buffy, but relies on armour and weaponry, since we haven't really seen a LB like that before. Plus we could really use our imaginations to come up with some kick-ass weaponry for Raven.

she is very strong when she arrives in sunnydale, ala my episode, but she has a power source that the gang finds out about and they destroy it thus leaving Raven to have to find some heavy weaponry...

What if she has something similar to the Gem of Amarra? Like, I don't know, the Dagger of Amarra, which makes her really strong. The Scoobs steal this from her, and she vanishes from town at the end of the ep. And then when she reappears she's kitted up with all this magical armour and enchanted weapons that she's picked up from all over the world?

I'm still waiting for it! I'm holding out until tonight, since maybe Sam the Eagle is at work/school/college and hasn't had the opportunity to email it to me yet.
Hopefully it'll arrive today, but if not, I guess it'll be postponed again until Sunday. And I'll ask whoever is writing Ep 4 to have theirs ready on standby - we may move Ep 4 to Ep 3 if 4 isn't with me by Saturday night.

He's having problems, and might try to get his Ep to me tonight. If I don't get it by 10pm UK time, (5pm board time), then I'll air Faithsguys episode, and put Sam's on Sunday.

we are having some problem, lets just hope sam can get it to you today. Also about the Raven fighting style, its funny you mentioned it because in my ep she has a dagger that she uses twice, so if a writer of a later ep wants to identify that she has her power in that dagger, that would be cool...
Also where the heck is Ozmandyus (or however u spell it) Is his ep near completion?
