Subject: Proserpexa/Aurelius idea.
OK, I got thinking, and here goes...
A young woman is the Slayer in Roman times. She is sired, and is renamed Aurelius, and goes on to sire the infamous line of vamps.
But what of the human soul which was cast out? What if vamped Slayers souls can't go to the Atferlife, some kind of punishment from The Powers That Be for drinking a vampires blood. So the Roman Slayers soul is banished to the Hellmouth, where she spends millennia in torment, watched over by her cult - which turn out to have been a group of radical Watchers who left the Council to set up a temple in her honour.
So, in this scenario we'd have the Slayers soul being corrupted, and ending up recruiting the demon who put her in that position to do her bidding, and release her by summoning the Horsemen.
Whaddaya think? A connection between Proserpexa and Aurelius could work, I think, and be a major twist in the season to find out the BB is in fact the corrupted soul of a Slayer, gifted with demonic energies from the Hellmouth.

do we really have to involve the watchers?
Can't we just have vamped slayer has little bad for a few eps, then near mid season have vamped slayer and her minions release perwhatshername (forgot how to spell it) as the BB of the season?
I know mostly in Buffy things are all connected but there are two many BB characters with vamped slayer, slayers soul, four horsemen, watchers and perpexia!
I think there should just be two.

Yeah, I thought Aurelius and Proserpexa could be sharing some kind of psychic link, where they're communicating. Proserpexa commands Aurelius to summon the Horsemen, and we got from there.

The time. Roman would indicate what? Up to 450AD. Just thinking purely about The Master's bat nose... that would estimate his age to be at least 1500. And he was already bat-faced when he encountered Darla in 1609, when he was at the least 1200 years old. I'm just trying to come up with a date for the Master's siring that would be realistic for him to have already looked the way he did. Apparently, the comics havehim estimated at 600 years old. But that would be impossible, since Darla was edging on 400 and wasn't remotely mishapen. Little myth things like that need to be set out. At what point does a vampire grow past the curse of human features? Just so we don't risk it, I'd suggest throwing Aurelius back to Egyptian times. Plus, there's the added thing that the Slayers originated in Africa (yes I'm aware that Egypt is in North East Africa but still... same continent) so we've got even more of that "It's All Connected" vibe going on.
Just a thought.

Aurelius was a name from Roman times. And I only know that from "Gladiator"!
Yeah, place Aurelius origins in any time from - we'd have to find a reason why Aurelius has been inactive for so long though. Hibernating? :-)

I'm very confused. So who is the BB? The human soul of a slayer? Does it have physical form? Is it transferred into a demon? Why would the vamped slayer want to release her human soul?

Or do you mean the order of aurelius? Because it's stated that they're just the best vampires around and have been recruited into the order.

so we have the real BB of being Proserpexa, the soul of the vamped slayer, sent to hell by TPTB.
The body of the slayer, now a vampire, and has been since Roman times, is now searching for a way (and has been for a long time now)to free its soul to become super powerful, since Aurellius (vamped slayer body) knows that the soul is now evil after spending thousands of years in hell. The renegade Watcher's who felt guilty for this trade, then volunteer to "watch" her soul in hell, but are corrupted by the FE.
But lets say that Aurellius before she was vamped, cut a deal with the FE that if the FE would become dorment till a disruption in the slayer line unfolded (alah BTVS S7), that Aurellius would give up her soul to hell when she died. But, she was then vamped and her soul went to hell, and she knew she could not get it back till the FE appeared again. So, after S7, she makes her way to Sunnydale to release her soul.
But, now her soul is evil, and she might know it, but she could try to get the Scooby Gang to help her. She calls on the 4 horsemen, etc. etc. to release Proserpexa and *bingo* we have the BB.
I hope this isn't far fetched, but it would really tie in everything everyone has mentioned...what do you all think??

While i don't completely understand everything Kash said (it's 4am) I'm not a big fan of linking two BB together. I think every season should stand alone. It just seems to over-complicate it.

This would just be a way to logically explain how its all connected, and give us a chance to go full circle and tie up all loose ends.
Here is a summary of what Kash said.
We have 1)Aurellius the Slayer (in Roman times)
She is then vamped and becomes 2) Aurellius the Vampire
Her soul is then cast into hell when she became a vampire. Renegade Watcher's felt it was unfair for her soul to be sent to torment, thus fled the Council and guarded over her soul. Her soul, while in hell, then became known as the 3)Purseplexa (sp). Those renegade watcher's evolved into the group that was mentioned in S6 that tried to bring Purseplexa back, and remember, the temple Willow tried to raise in s6 was the link to Perseplexa. Now, Aurellius the vampire is trying to free her soul (known as Prosoplexa (sp)) and has traveled to Sunnydale to do see. Aurellius calls on the powers of the 4 horsemen to do this, not knowing what her soul (Proseplexa) is actually planning on doing...which in fact is incenerating the Earth...like revenge.
