Can I just say first of all that I really think we should have Dru in the mid season fling. I think we could finally end the Dru/Spike arc. Including Spike staking Dru in order to save Buffy. But I shall save that story for another post below.

While I've picked 5, I don't think it's a good idea to bring back characters unless we have a story for them. The big problem with Riley's return in S6 was that they'd obviously gone "we want to bring Riley back, let's think of a story for him", instead of "we have this great story idea, only Riley's in it, so he needs to come back"
