hi eddie i agree in principal,but since i worked it isaacs and da2 and now the messanine,theres only one little problem..its grand to pay a band a fee if the band work the gig with the venue,but there are a lot of bands who will take the fee and not bother doing the work with the venue.as you know we pay the bands upstairs in the mezz but this only works because we dont charge in and the fees we can give are pretty small compared to a band takeing the door and chargeing in themselfs if they work there gig.ive seen a lot of bands messing up by playing to much its great to gig but it would be better to space your gigs out to every say 8 weeks and try and make an event of it ,try to make the gigs a show spend some extra money on lights a great sound man,great flyers a4s,etc i know cpu bands do it like the subs,listo,think etc ,ill meet up with you eddie and talk about this ive been thinking about having a meeting with sol from dorans,dave from isaacs,john from whelans,vanessa from voodoo,about a coming together of venues and artists so it works for everybody but we should have a meeting first when you have some comeback from the people on the website talk soon mick
