Rich, you are a man with no head! My mouth is hanging open here. You seem to have permanently lost your mind. Hmmm...this isn't sounding very flattering. Let me just say that the flavor of your awakening seems different than mine. I must be slow or something. Ben says he lost his mind very early in his process. Mine seems to come and go as I said before. Today, interesting enough, I had a THOUGHT about the mind and it was this:

Feelings and Emotions are Body Sensations interpreted by the Mind

I just posted my rant on this on the other forum but I want to insert it here too to see if it is relevant or anything:

"I was laying down on the couch drifting off to a snooze when a loud noise caused my body to react in such a way that I would name as terror. The actual body sensation was kind of like lightening shooting through me. And then I had the above THOUGHT.

I remember listening to a tape by Gangaji where this man was feeling a lot of fear and she talked him into realizing that it was JUST a body sensation, at which everybody started laughing uproariously for about half an hour. So we aren't taking body sensations seriously? Like they're FUNNY or something?

I'm interested in this because I've always IDENTIFIED with my feelings and emotions. Like today I AM terror or some such thing. But why should I be identifying with my body sensations any more than I would identify with my thoughts. And what are these body sensations all about anyway?

They seem to be present time reinactments of past traumas, stored in the cells maybe, waiting for something to restimulate them. And when that something happens, like the loud noise I heard while snoozing, VOILA...THEY PRESENT THESELVES AND THEN MY MIND INTERPRETS IT AS TERROR.

It seems to me that we can't just dismiss these sensations as meaningless as Gangaji seems to do. They are indicators of trauma, holders of pain, and they seem to be holding it until Consciousness comes to transform it with its Quantum Vision. Now if the mind jumps in there first and decides that this is terror and that means that I AM terror THEN I am stuck there in that identity. God knows I've been stuck there a hell of a long time.

So it occurs to me to just be Conscious with the body sensation without giving it a story or an interpretation or any such mind full thing. Just observing it consciously. Being with it so to speak. Holding it. Consciouness OF ITSELF seems to make such a difference."

Well this may all be too much blathering of the mind for you to give a fig about it, but I've decided to let it rip anyway.

I am REALLY enjoying what you have written. So perceptive, so clear. I am certainly not disappointed, I am amazed. And I do know some people who seem to have very little to shakedown about and are rather blissful as a result...so strange to me, the Queen of Down.

HUG! Cassie
