"In College I would fall into Onlyness by making a square with my hands and holding it up to my eyes and look at things in the square so that I couldn't tell what they were. I was trying to unname things and see them without a concept. As if I had never seen anything before. I would also realize Isness temporarily in those moments...it was my way of diving into matter at that stage of my life. Saniel's essay on Diving into Matter is Diving into Spirit is a treasure for me."

Deidra how wonderful you are. I love this part about trying to see things without their names. YES! This is it! The only way to really see. Otherwise we filter everything through our mind's concepts, beliefs, opinions, and words, words, words! Everything is old. Been there, done that, seen it all and now that I know it's name, I've killed it, stuffed it and mounted it on the wall of my mind. Oh such pain.

But to dive down below the mind where everything just IS. No names, no prior concepts, just fresh isness...ahhh...deeeeeep breath.

I haven't heard of this essay of Saniel's, or if I have, I've forgotten it. Where can I find it?

Huge gobs of blessings and love, Cassie
