Love your description of "packing a gun" under that blanket.

In the Sufi tradition (I think) they often quote that your worst enemies can turn out to be your best "friends" on the Path. In some ways I sometimes wonder whether my stalker-guy isn't some such perverse "Friend" of Being, as I am now almost constantly alert and on my guard and there was something in there too about years of rage and terror and a father figure to boot. It also all coincided (and still is) with some amazing openings in Being. And some mix-up cos he was a bit of an Adi-Da look-alike! I worry when I analyse it as such because I also have to remember the common-sense, down-to-earth approach of "the guy's an asshole"! However, if this was the States, maybe I'd go buy myself that gun...
