"This is different", was almost a mantra for Fred Taylor a student of Waking Down who had his second birth last September. He had been a student of many paths and when he would recognize the uniqueness of the teaching he was hearing he would shout into the room, "this is different." this happened often. Waking Down, or The White Hot Way of the Heart, is not only different, it is unique. Many times when I have been talking to people about this Way, they start comparing Waking Down to some practice they are in or have been in to see how it fits. I have often heard people comment, Oh, yes this is just like so and so. This is normal, but it really doesn't work with Waking Down. First of all, Waking Down appeals to us when everything else has failed. When the mantras and the meditations have left us fundamentaly unchanges after years of practice. We begin to dispare and we recognize that So and So's teaching just didn't deliver. We have been told or just have felt all our lives that we are unhappy because we are sinners or we need to fix ourselves in some way, and we have believed it. Waking Down tells us, and as far as I know is the only path that does, that we should stop working on ourselves, we are not sinners nor do we need to be fixed. It was such a relief to hear Saniel say, "Just relax. Stop doing all the things that haven't worked, just be with me, read my books and recieve my spiritual transmission, which will inspire you to awaken. Now there are many awakened people who's transmission is available to us all. The truth of this path has been demonstrated over and over again by the Awakening of myself and many of my friends. It stands on it's own, unique in it's premis and effectiveness. If you can see that the old baggage you carry is filled with faild methods and empty teachings that never made any fundimental change in you, then you are ready for Waking Down. This White Hot Way requires energy and purpose. This is not a New Age church filled with "feel good slogans" like, God loves you and I'm OK and your OK. This a process that transforms you to your cells. It is most profound and requires great courage. If you give it your time and attention it will demostrate to you that it is different. Waking Down stands on it's own, if for no other reason than it works. It actually transforms people. Give it a chance to prove itself to you on it's own merits. I think you will find that there is nothing else like it.
