Is TK going to win a race with guys under 30 in it? Is Sam going to pull something out of his bong? Will that hairy eyed homo chris pull the upset? Maybe the road fag will be there again? And what about old man JM, will his crash from the weekend slow him down?

Terrific race last week. Hope you had fun- you were terrific in all that mud. Some good handling skilz there.

In order to get along better with the other users of the park, we are going to change a couple of things around. The main goal of these changes is to dramatically reduce the traffic of MTBers on bikes and in vehicles along the road, so boaters and others can get thru without being blocked.

* No parking along the road. Please park in parking lots only. The race is a short ride form the parking lots that are just before the bridge.

* Registration has moved to the field, so you won't need to be on the road.

* The start will be in the field so we don't block traffic and also avoid potential car/bike encounters of the close kind. This week the race will again go clockwise like last week. But we will start just inside the woods, where you normally enter the field near the end of a lap. That way you can string out before hitting the road. We'll try to start those who placed well last week, in front. Remember- these are training races, not the World's.

* The finish will be in the field also. We want to keep you all in the field as much as possible. Finish will be where it was last week.

To help us score, we'd appreciate it if spectators would congregate before, not after, the finish, but leaving a good sight line for Janey. When you finish, please do not go off somewhere. Scoring crit-style races is hard. Ideally finishers would immediately curl back toward the finish line in a "J", remaining in the order in which they finished. You could watch the others finish and cheer them on, and when it's over, we can verify any numbers that were hard to read in the fury of the finish.
