A lot of school lately have been cutting out the pledge, my district for example, my freshman year they started to really take it out. only on tuesday would students who would want to, could say the pledge. students were given the choice to do it or not. and then after that, the next year they just totally got rid of it in all the schools, i think the only schools that'd say the pledge now are christian schools, and i'm sure majority-christian southern schools, and even western state schools like in texas, since taht is a real big christian populated area. the school boards are what choose the pledge, not the government.
