Subject: "Atheistic Wicca"? An Encounter at a Presentation Author: Vince [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 06:07:53 05/18/04 Tue Yesterday, I had the privalige of going into a girls school to give a presentation on the occult, wicca, and witchcraft, from a Christian point of view. Usually give talks in lot of places but first time in a school. The girls were great and very responsive ( and patient listening to me babble on!) One girl, at the end of the presentation said she was an atheist but interested in getting into wicca. I don't think I gave her a good answer really, and it was only later that I thought about some of the things I could have said (isn't just always the way?!!). Anyway, I know that there are such people as atheistic wiccans and that these people believe that the goddess and the god and other entities are jungian archytypes or symbols etc. What do other here think of this view point?
