Yes, the female aspect of the goddess was something that I thought was an attraction.

With it being quite a feminine movement I wonder why Gardner chose to use the word "Wicca" rather than the feminine form of "Wicce"? As I am sure you know, Wicca is old english for someone who is a male witch.

I also wonder if the modern female attraction to Wicca has something to do with films like The Craft, and shows like Charmed, and Buffy, where the key characters are women? Just a thought.
