Firstly i would like to say that i am behind the Marina development 100%. And have been following the weak and somtimes amusing arguments from those whom oppose it, But now i feel i must have my voice heard after reading A Horsman's letter in this weeks Free Press.
It seems that in the absence of any meaningful argument Mr Horseman has relagated to name calling.
If this is the level you want to drag us down to then you mr Horseman are also pathetic!
By belittling and demeaning bridlington's seasonal and catering trade, you are alienating a large percentage of Bridlington's employed population, These are the people that serve you and you family when you choose to eat out, You obviously have no respect for these honest hard working Bridlingtonians.
You talk about your Children aspiring to more that this... Then why do you live in Bridlington?
For your children to achieve their goals, it is plain to see that they will have to move away from the area in seek of a more prosporous future, which is in fact the point we are making.
Are we to accept that anyone under 35 must look eleswhere for employment and leave Bridlington to the old retired few and it's decline?
