So I'm blatantly using Sarah's forum to vent my gripes about the stupid state of our country. Big surprise. In the words of Chia herself, and I quote, "(the situation) pisses me off because NOW I HAVE TO GET INVOLVED." Basically stating that the yahoos who have been running the country and doing a marginal job of it have now completely destroyed any credibility I used to give to the US government and now we all have to take up arms and take the country back. Or at least register to vote. In some peoples opinion, same difference.

Utah Phillips, whom I had the extreme pleasure of meeting recently said this: "Many people have asked me why I just don't move to Canada. Well, I'll tell ya. If a bunch of assholes have taken over my country, I want it back!" He also went on to state that these people running our government are "the most dangerous people my country has ever seen, maybe even that the world has seen." True. True.

So we gotta get em out! Kick em out! WAAAAYYYYYYY out! (sorry, flashback to a football game cheer) And I'm pissed off because its gotten so bad, our politics don't even take common sense into the equation. What the hell happened? ACK. People, we've got to be heard on this issue and the only way it will happen is if we all VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRATS. Ya Ya Ya, i know, they are just republicans in jack ass clothing. But we have to put a stop to whats happening and the simple truth is the only party organized enough to stop it is the Democrats. *sigh* what has the world come to?

Anyways, I'm finding myself becoming more and more political ... (I even called my senator for crissakes and asked him to OPPOSE the energy bill! Made a phone call and spoke to a *gasp* real person.) So support your people in office and make your voice heard. Its the only way our children have a chance at knowing some decency in our world. End rant. for now.
