No, I'd say that that's not how most guys think. That's how the character Ben thinks, and he's certainly not a typical example.

Now, if it had just been the third panel, that'd be a lot closer to the norm.

The typical thought patterns I experience in those kinds of situations (and they are pretty close to what most guys I've talked to about this think) is something like:

*CLEAVAGE DETECTED: BEARING 272 mark 300*
[Target aquired]
*INITIAL QUALITY RATING: 78% --
ALERT! ALERT! REDHEAD!
[Proceed with environmental assesment:]
--Noticed me: negative
--Otherwise distracted: negative
--Any other possible observers: negative
--Alertness level: Probable reading: 45%
[SCHEDUAL FUNCTION:
As P(d) increases, reduce both L(t) and L(n).
As B(q) increases, decrease weighting of other factors.

Where Probability of discovery [P(d)] is an aggregate of the environmental factors and Boobie quality [B(q)] must take into account coeffciants of clothing revelation.]

L(n) = 5 times
L(t) = 2 minutes

Something like that.

And of course, you have to account for the "Butterface" syndrome.
