Removing the 3 choices limit is a small modification that would make this a great voting system. Remove the 3 choices limit (Let people rank as many candidates as the wish.), couple this with internet voting and I think you've got a powerful way to create a dynamic voting system. The cost savings alone are a great advantage. Do you have any links to articles that describe Australia's problems with this system? I haven't found any good articles.

We already disenfranchise voters with our current system. As a registered no party voter I can't even vote in the primaries! This varies from state to state, but the fact is that our current voting system has problems of it's own.
