Clive, let us get one thing straight. My postings on this board are borne out of my concerns for the club. It is good that following the clubs decision to withdraw the official message board the opportunity exists to express concerns, even you, an advocate of the decision, appear to take advantage of this facility.
Although the list you have provided is comprehensive a number of the players have come and gone, some came through the youth team and a number have played less than 5 games for the club. You have omitted from the list Hewitt, Tilbury, Dooley, Luffman, Bennetts etc, all players signed in blaze of publicity who did little or nothing. You appear not have addressed the problem regarding the youth Team players, I am sure we would all appreciate your thoughts.
With regards to the success or otherwise of teams promoted with us facts cannot lie, only Hereford who finished 28 points behind us last season and Bracknell who finished 12 points adrift last year, faired worse than us this season.
On a personal matter your accusation regarding my spreading of rumours regarding player departures is totally unfounded, I have to much respect for the those people in the club who genuinely support the team and willingly give their all. Obviously an apology would be appreciated. As you also make mention of my personal success or otherwise, please remember the old adage, those who can do those who can't teach.
I will confirm that I do speak to a number of people associated with the club on a regular basis and there is a concern regarding the state of affairs.
