i adore you web kitten, we usually agree on alot of things. but i gotta disagree with you on this one. i truly feel that saddam hussein would LOVE to see america come crashing down, and has definate plans to attack us, just doesn't have the means to do so YET. sure, so we buckle under peer pressure and don't go to war. give it a month or two, we WILL get attacked. 9/11 was a nice example of the hatred other countries have for us. iraq alone can't hurt us, but join forces with any of our enemies (common bond) LIKE NORTH KOREA WHO CAN AND WANTS TO NUKE US, and we will be destroyed. we have to go to war to PREVENT an attack on our country or allies. flat out. this is NOT SOLEY GEORGE BUSH JR.'S DECISION. he is not a dictator. we have a MASSIVE system of checks and balances, and you KNOW everything he says was written by other people and teams of people (including the comm in cheif) decide on what to say. AND germany and spain are the ONLY european countries against us in this, which is NOT ALL OF EUROPE. i feel the media is EXTREMELY biased, and millions of people are uninformed about what's really going on and have formed opinions of off what everyone else is telling them. don't believe the hype guys. no, saddam is NOT A NICE GUY WILLING TO COMPROMISE. he is someone that tortures and kills. if hitler was in power today, i fear that the public would be acting how they are now, protesting the war and saying hitler deserves another chance. out of love for this country and all americans, i feel we have to protect our country and get saddam out of power by ANY MEANS NECESSARY. i don't want to see million's of innocent people killed. we have the technology to attack key points in iraq and win this with minimal civilian casualities (IN SPITE OF THE FACT THAT SADDAM IS STRATEGICALLY PLACING KEY ATTACK POINTS IN THE MIDST OF CIVILIAN AREAS LIKE SCHOOLS AND PUBLIC BUILDINGS) the FACT is he is NOT playing by the rules. what should we do in this situation??? i think we should fight him and win. that's my opinion. we all have a right to feel how we feel, i'm just elaborating on my position. cheers
