Selecting your placement based on how many ads you've sold is just a perk for the contestants. In the grand scheme of things, I doubt that the judges pay any attention to how many ads a contestant has in the book, and it has no bearing in the outcome. For example, Jennifer Schmidt had two ad pages the year she won, and Lila had two and a half, while there were others that had considerably more. And this is something YOU would know if YOU had actually purchased a program book. Your conspiracy theories regarding how Miss Wisconsin is chosen each year are ridiculous.
