Subject: I don't know if you're aware but Miss America is in a major legal battle
In reply to: Hello! 's message, "Re: Miss Wisconsin state pageant host city news" on 07:37:32 09/18/24 Wed

I'm not sure a "New Era" for Miss America is even possible. And regarding the fact that most people that live in Oshkosh didn't even know it was going on, I'm not sure that would be any different where ever it was held. Competitions such as these are a dying breed and most people do not care about them. It is sad though, because the Miss WI Organization always puts on a first-class production, but I'm willing to bet the people that live right across the street from the Alberta Kimball Auditorium do not even walk over to attend.

It is about damn time we see a change.

  • To answer this---whose fault the local residents do not know of the pageant week? There's barely -- news coverage, and no downtown parade for starters, 11:36:13 09/18/24 Wed
