Actually, I've played the Baldur's Gate series on Macintosh
(same as the PC series) and also the Baldur's Gate game
that was released for console the PS2 one. And, yeah the
PC ones are better than the console version. Yet, it still
didn't impresse me as much as I had been expecting. It was
fun but repetitive. And, lacked that certain something that
I've found in many Japanese RPGs. There's just something
that sparkles and appeals more to me nowadays in Japanese
RPGs.

I think there is more fun innovation and creativity in gameplay like
with VS. And, also more life and soul in the appealing characters. Also, many more variety of unique settings. Like
modern RPG, horror RPG, space/sci-fi RPG, historical RPG,etc...

Still, I did enjoy Baldur's Gate series on Mac. Just not
as much as I thought or hoped I would.

Oh well, one thing I wish for is a grand scale DragonLance
RPG. One that is epic...and also perhaps a strategy RPG
based on the War of the Lance.
